Yesterday three of our eco reps went to a ‘live green’ conference in Helmsdale. The conference helped us all learn about how to integrate culture and sustainability into our eco-schools programme. we learned loads to share with others when we came back and really enjoyed listening to the ‘junk’ band from Dornoch Academy!
Today I had the pleasure of visiting P6/7 to hear their eco presentations. P6/7 were asked who would be willing to join the school eco committee. There were loads of volunteers!, so Mrs Wright and I decided that a small presentation from each child was in order to hear about why they wanted to join the eco committee and their ideas to improve the school. We were so impressed with all of the presentations.
